The Great Western Industrial Park announced its new partnership with commercial real estate service firm Newmark Grubb Knight Frank Tuesday in an effort to attract more businesses and more jobs to northern Colorado.
Situated at the east side of Windsor, the industrial park, a part of the Broe Group and its OmniTRAX, Inc. transportation affiliate, is part of a coordinated, master-planned development quickly becoming an epicenter of 21st century manufacturing and distribution, stated a news release from OmniTRAX, Inc.
“With the industrial renaissance happening in the U.S., we are seeing an increase in companies that need to move large quantities of their products far distances, and rail has always been the effective way to do that,” said Tony Manos, Senior Vice President of Industrial Development for OmniTRAX. “The Great Western Industrial Park provides a unique opportunity to locate at a dual rail served property, granting user’s access to both Union Pacific and BNSF Railroads.”
Since opening in 2003 the industrial park has regularly added businesses and currently includes Vestas, Carestream, Front Range Energy, Halliburton, Hexcel, Kodak, Colorado National Guard, Musket, Cargill and Schlumberger. Additionally, Crall Products has planning to build a facility in the park, further bolstering the job growth, stated the release.
“It is getting extremely difficult to find rail serviced properties like the sites at the Great Western Industrial Park,” said Mike Wafer, executive managing director of Newmark Grubb Knight Frank. “We’re excited with the opportunity to help companies with very specialized needs find properties that are a fit.
Our hope is that by working together, we can fill the Park with more manufacturing and distribution businesses that have been providing economic and job growth throughout the region.”
At the industrial park parcels from two to 200 contiguous acres are available for sale or lease with various site configurations and lot sizes.
Industrial development services such as engineering, site layout, track design, logistics planning and consulting are also offered to help customers gain access to current or new markets as quickly as possible. State tax breaks are available via Weld County’s Enterprise Zone, and the park is already designated as a Foreign Trade Zone.
